Skate of Mind is a grassroots, national touring collective of skaters, filmmakers, photographers, and artists. We run community engagement events, workshops, music, art, digital art, projection, and soundscape design in regional communities.
Partnering with renowned skate culture brands Totem and Element, the Skate of Mind team will connect with regional young people through skateboarding, art and music. Promoting skateparks as safe places for connection and expression for the whole community.
After such a successful tour in Tasmania throughout 2023, events continued throughout 2024 in Wynyard, Tasmania, and Pilbara WA. In 2025 events are happening in North-West TAS and in NSW a vibrant new project development is happening in the Illawarra.
These events are run in partnership with Totem and Element.

Girls Only Skate – Port Kembla

A great opportunity to settle in and get comfortable at the new PK Skate Park, Skate of Mind ‘Girls Only’
Starting on Tuesdays in October Skate of Mind will be holding skateboarding workshops at Port Kembla Skate Park.
These workshops are all ages and all levels, we just want to encourage healthy skate culture and welcome girls to feel safe in these community spaces.

- 12 – 12:30pm half-pipe demo
- 12:30 – 2pm Free skate
